To make the vision of this major redevelopment come to life we will need further contributions from individuals, families and companies, to add to the significant funds already raised from both the community and local central government
The Hawke’s Bay Museums Trust is undertaking fundraising and will receive donations for the redevelopment of the Hawke’s Bay Museum and Art Gallery. The Trust is registered with the Charities Commission (CC24406) and registered as an IRD approved donee organisation.
There are many ways to join the project from community-focused fundraising opportunities to sponsorship packages with a full-suite of benefits. To discuss how you can join us, contact Pam Joyce, Hawke's Bay Museum & Art Gallery, by telephone: 06 835 9245 or:
There are a range of corporate sponsorship packages linked to particular parts of the building. These include sponsorship of the new large galleries, foyer, education suites and Taonga Maori Gallery. Corporate sponsorship packages range from $15,000 to $500,000 and we will work with potential sponsors to tailor benefits to their particular needs or strategic direction.
A keystone of the project is community fundraising. There are opportunities for individuals and families to make a contribution towards the project and to have their name associated with this prestigious building. Community contributions can be made here: through the digital artwork featured on this site or cheques made out to the Hawke’s Bay Museums Trust can be delivered to the Napier City Council Civic Building, Hastings Street, Napier or posted to the Hawke’s Bay Museums Trust, PO Box 248, Napier 4140. Please include your contact details so we can send you a donation receipt. The Trust is registered as an IRD approved donee organisation. Your name can be recorded in the digital artwork that will be displayed on this website and then permanently in the HBMAG once the redevelopment is complete.
Please contact Tanya Stewart on 06 835 9241 or firstname.lastname@example.org in regard to Trust donations.
